Adapt to changes and climb higher with the Osprey Mutant 22L Climbing Backpack. Designed in collaboration with mountain guides and mountaineering enthusiasts, this lightweight, and versatile backpack will accompany you all the way to the top and back.

Made from high tenacity 210D nylon, the Mutant 22L’s durability and resistance to the elements are unquestionable. Its rear panel is specially designed to repel snow and ice on its surface, allowing greater air circulation through the fabric and keeping you cool when heat is the norm. In addition, the fixation and preformed design of its harness – which includes straps for the chest and lumbar area, the latter removable – ensures that your load remains balanced on your torso.

On the outside, the Mutant 22L includes dual ToolLock loops for carrying ice axes, pickaxes, and other mountaineering tools, as well as additional loops on the sides for using compression ropes or attaching other gear. Inside, the Mutant 22L includes a special hydration pocket that allows you to carry reservoirs of up to 3 liters capacity, as well as a zippered mesh pocket under its lid to carry small items.
